Program Manager Sales - Faith Journeys LLC

Faith Journeys is a newly formed religious travel company dedicated to emerging as a leading player in the U.S. Faith-based Travel & Tourism market over the next five years. This broad-based new venture provides one-of-a-kind spiritual experiences that are tailored to each client's individual needs. The company customizes all its programs based on Protestant Christian & Catholic history and traditions with a strong emphasis on scripture to deepen each traveler's understanding of the Bible and the teachings of Jesus. Furthermore, Faith Journeys focuses on travel programs that include opportunities for "voluntourism," a rapidly growing movement combining religious travel and some extra days of purpose-driven interaction with local people in a deeply rewarding capacity.

To complement our team, Faith Journeys is looking for a Program Manager in Sales who will coordinate the various sales activities of the company and work very closely with Faith Journeys' Managing Director Marketing & Partnerships to acquire new accounts and close sales.

Job Summary:

• Accountable to manage sales activities and to meet revenue objectives
• Train Telemarketing Team to optimize sales lead generation
• Liaise with Managing Director Marketing & Partnerships to continuously increase closing ratio
• Establish close client relationships and consult clients on program development
• Some travel required mostly in the U.S.
• The position is based in Atlanta, GA

Experience:

• Proven success selling new business in a competitive environment (at least 3-5 years)
• Ability to communicate and sell effectively over the phone
• Ability to think quickly on your feet and make recommendations
• Enjoy being organized and work in a decentralized corporate structure
• Ability to build relationships with customers & co-workers
• Broad destination knowledge of Europe & the Middle East particularly of faith-based sights
• Strong computer skills (MS Office & ACT)
